POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Further Development & Maintenance of Existing Product Lines with Siemens (TIA Portal) and Schneider Electric (SoMachine & Machine Expert)
Participate in new Project-oriented plant development with Implementation based on detailed function descriptions in structured and maintainable control software
Perform tests to validate functions and confirm requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years’ experience in industrial environment
Degree in automation technology, electrical engineering or similar
Solid experience in PLC programming with Siemens, Schneider Electric in structured text (SCL/ST) (IEC 61131-3)
Interface experience with OPC-UA, TCP/IP
Fieldbus systems, PROFINET, CANopen and others
Commissioning of drives
Experience on Siemens TIA Portal and Schneider Electric SoMachine / Machine Expert
Confident handling of function plans and modularization of complex control systems
Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
Advantageous:
Experience in C#, .NET (as experience for object-oriented code development)
Version control with Git (GitHub), TIA Project Server
Knowledge on Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.1 Build 4026, TwinSAFE, TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2, EtherCAT
Experience with modeling languages for software design (UML)
Experience in PLC software development for series machines
Others:
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good level of English
Willingness to travel for final commissioning and acceptance of the plant at the site of operation (exceptionally customers Worldwide) ~ 5%
