Job Description
During your assignment, you will become familiar with simulation and modelling in the field of additive manufacturing for metallic materials (especially LPBF process).
You will optimize and calibrate the existing process simulation of the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process.
You will systematically analyse and evaluate the influence of process parameters and structural parameters on the part quality
Last but not least, you will document and present the results.
Qualifications
Education: Master studies in the field of Simulation Technology, Computational Science, Mechanical engineering or comparable
Experience and Knowledge: expertise in FEM simulation and modelling, experience with the laser powder bed fusion process as a plus
Personality and Working Practice: independent, structured and self-motivated
Languages: very good in English or German
Additional Information
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
