As a member of Stratasys Global Engineering Department, the Hardware Compliance Project Manager will be part of the Hardware Regulatory Compliance Team, responsible for Hardware Compliance, certifying Stratasys 3D printers towards global standards of safety, environmental, electromagnetic and radio compatibility.
What you will be doing:
Participate new design of 3D printers with responsibility over system safety, radiated emissions and signal integrity
Act as technical liaison for R&D and Engineering about various aspects of systems compliance to relevant standards
Lead product safety and EMC evaluations and tests by external laboratories, advisors, and subcontractors to meet relevant Safety, EMC, and Environmental certifications.
Perform product safety reviews, and preliminary safety testing
Facilitate agency inspections and maintain product regulatory compliance files
Must have for this role:
2+ years of prior experience at a multidisciplinary company as electronics engineer
Experience with electronic board design and signal integrity
Experience with design for safety of electromechanical systems
USA/Canada regulations knowhow: FCC, NRTL listing, UL standards, electrical codes of NFPA – Advantage
Experience with European directives: Machinery, Low Voltage, Radio, and EMC) – advantage
Strong written and verbal English.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships on a multi-level basis.
Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment with a variable priority setting.
